Nnamdi Azikwe Teaching Hospital {NAUTH} Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria has called for applications from suitably qualified candidates for the post of house officers and interns in the hospital.

The following positions are open for application in the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital Nnewi Job vacancy:

A. Houser officers

Job Description

  • Selected candidates are expected to undergo a twelve month unbroken pre-registration rotation through the clinical department of surgery, medicine, paediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology, of the hospital.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess MBBS degree from a recognized university plus provisional registration of the medical and dental council of Nigeria.

B. Interns

1. Intern Pharmacist

Job Description

  • Selected candidates are expected to undergo a twelve month unbroken pre-registration internship in the pharmacy department of the hospital.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy plus provisional registration of the pharmacist council of Nigeria.

2. Intern Radiographer

Job Description

  • Twelve months unbroken internship programme in the radiology department of the hospital.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Radiography from a recognized university plus the provisional reistration of the radiographers registration board of Nigeria (RRBN).

3. Intern Medical Laboratory Scientist

Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess BMLS degree from a recognized university plus the provisional registration of the medical laboratory science council of Nigeria.

4. Intern Physiotherapist

Job Description

  • Twelve months unbroken pre-registration internship in the physiotherapy department of the hospital.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized university plus the provisional registration of the medical rehabilitation therapists board of Nigeria.

Job Description

Selected candidates are expected to undergo a twelve month unbroken pre-registration rotation through the laboratory departments of Haematology, Chemical pathology, Histopathology and microbiology, of the hospital.

Method of Application

A type-written application should be addressed to the Chief Medical Director, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, P.M.B. 5925, Nnewi, enclosing the following documents:

1. Two (2) copies of curriculum vitae.

2. Two (2) copies each of all relevant credentials.
3. Evidence of Change of name where necessary.
4. Birth certificates.
5. Current practicing license.
6. Three referee reports. (please indicate your phone number in your application).
