On his arrival in Nigeria, one of his first stops was the Co-creation hub in Yaba, Surulere Lagos. Mark Zuckerberg and his partner, Priscilla Chan’s foundation provided its first ever company earlier in the year to an African startup, Andela.

One of the key founders of Andela is Iyinoluwa Aboyeji who is a Nigerian. While in the Co-creation hub in Yaba Lagos, Zuckerberg met with young Nigerian technology enthusiasts.

Zuckerberg’s visit to Nigeria is his first time of visiting the African continent. He is poised to use this opportunity to find out how to strengthen Facebook not just in Nigeria but all over the entire African Continent.
